Wai Kee Holdings Limited ( (HK:0610) ) has shared an update.

Wai Kee Holdings Limited has announced a planned change of auditor, with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu set to retire after the conclusion of the annual general meeting on 22 May 2026, ending more than 33 years in the role. The board and audit committee, citing auditor rotation as being in the best interests of shareholders, will propose the appointment of Crowe (HK) CPA Limited as the new auditor, subject to shareholder approval and completion of Crowe’s client acceptance procedures.

In selecting Crowe, the audit committee assessed audit fees, industry knowledge, independence, proposed audit services, technical competence, capacity and compliance with Hong Kong regulatory guidelines, and concluded Crowe is suitable for the mandate. The company and Deloitte both confirmed there is no disagreement between them, aside from issues previously disclosed in a modified audit opinion related to the going concern of Road King Infrastructure Limited and its restructuring, and a circular detailing the proposed appointment and AGM notice will be sent to shareholders in due course.
