Wai Chun Bio-Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding as lead coordinator and controlling shareholder with leading Chinese central state-owned enterprises, major Korean conglomerates and international financial institutions to jointly develop, construct and operate global wind and solar power projects. The alliance, which covers engineering, equipment supply, investment and financing, is intended to create a world-class new energy industry platform and significantly upgrade the group’s business profile.
Under the MOU, the parties plan to develop at least US$50 billion of new energy projects in South Korea alone and extend the portfolio to markets including Thailand, Indonesia, Central Asia, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The company expects the overall project pipeline to reach the hundred‑billion‑dollar range, marking a landmark expansion of its global business portfolio and potentially transforming its scale and positioning in the renewable energy industry.
