The latest update is out from WACOAL HOLDINGS ( (JP:3591) ).

Wacoal Holdings reported consolidated results for the year ended March 31, 2026 that fell slightly short of its prior revenue forecast, primarily due to sluggish women’s innerwear sales in major markets and weaker demand at U.S. department stores and dedicated e-commerce channels. Despite the revenue shortfall, business profit exceeded expectations thanks to lower SG&A expenses and reduced tariff impacts, although an impairment loss on Wacoal Europe goodwill was recorded amid slower growth in core channels, margin pressure from tariffs and inflation, and a difficult market environment in China.

Core subsidiary Wacoal Corp. in Japan delivered revenue and business profit roughly in line with targets, while Wacoal International Corp. in the U.S. saw revenue miss guidance but enjoyed improved profitability as tariff burdens eased. Wacoal Europe’s revenue was slightly below target but business profit improved following SG&A revisions, and Wacoal China’s promotional efforts bolstered brand value even as worsening market conditions led to under-target sales, with business profit meeting expectations.

The company maintained its dividend stance, confirming no change to the year-end dividend forecast for fiscal 2026. Shareholders are set to receive a year-end dividend of ¥50 per share in June 2026, keeping the total annual dividend at ¥100 per share, including the already paid interim dividend, underscoring management’s commitment to stable shareholder returns despite mixed top-line performance and regional challenges.
