Vulcan Energy Begins Key Lithium Plant Commissioning

Vulcan Energy Resources Ltd. (AU:VUL) has released an update.

Vulcan Energy Resources Ltd. has reached a significant milestone with the initiation of commissioning at its CLEOP lithium hydroxide optimization plant, marking a step forward in Europe’s drive for raw material independence and boosting the electric vehicle supply chain. The plant, located near Frankfurt, will soon produce Europe’s first battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LHM) using European-sourced lithium, with the first production of lithium hydroxide expected shortly. This development is set to position the company as a pioneer in the European battery industry with the first fully domestically produced LHM.
