Vulcan Energy Resources Ltd. ( (AU:VUL) ) has issued an announcement.
Vulcan Energy has appointed HOCHTIEF Chief Strategy Officer and CIMIC Group President and Executive Director Roberto Gallardo as a non-executive director, following HOCHTIEF’s substantial equity and project-level investment in the company in late 2025. Gallardo brings three decades of global infrastructure, construction and corporate governance experience, which Vulcan expects will support delivery of its Lionheart lithium and renewable energy project, reinforcing its position as a key European player in energy transition and critical raw materials supply.
The appointment also deepens Vulcan’s strategic partnership with HOCHTIEF and its subsidiary Sedgman, which have been selected as engineering, procurement and construction management contractors for Lionheart after a competitive tender. With construction already underway and offtake in place, the addition of a senior executive from the ACS Group – a major global infrastructure and energy transition operator – underscores institutional backing for Vulcan’s growth plans and is likely to bolster confidence among investors, customers and European energy transition stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:VUL) stock is a Hold with a A$4.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Vulcan Energy Resources Ltd. stock, see the AU:VUL Stock Forecast page.
