Vortex Energy Spearheads Innovative Hydrogen Storage Trial

Vortex Energy Corp. has announced a partnership with the University of Alberta for a pioneering hydrogen storage project in Canada, backed by a $1.2 million grant from Alberta Innovates. The project aims to design and implement the first field trial of hydrogen storage in Canadian salt formations, enhancing Alberta’s position as a leader in energy systems. The collaboration will leverage the University’s recent advancements in hydrogen-rock interaction research and Vortex’s resources from the Robinsons River Salt Project.
