Vortex Energy Corp. has partnered with National Research Canada for a two-year research project on underground hydrogen storage using salt cores extracted from two of their core holes. The project, supported by Alberta Innovates funding, aims to enable safe and long-term hydrogen gas storage in salt caverns, with additional research conducted by the University of Alberta.
