Volta Metals has intersected 688 metres of continuous carbonatite mineralization in drill hole SL26-35 at its Springer Rare Earth Element deposit in Ontario, the deepest hole completed on the property to date. The core has been sent to a specialized laboratory for rare earth and gallium analysis, with assay results expected in the second quarter of 2026.
The intersection, which ranks among the widest continuous carbonatite drill intervals reported globally, supports the interpretation of Springer as a large, mantle-rooted carbonatite pipe with bulk-tonnage potential. These results, combined with past drilling that shows REE and gallium hosted in synchysite amenable to established processing, strengthen the deposit’s prospects and will feed into a planned Preliminary Economic Assessment and open-pit design work.
