Volati AB ( (SE:VOLO) ) has provided an announcement.
Volati AB’s Annual General Meeting has approved the distribution of all shares in its subsidiary Salix Group to Volati’s ordinary shareholders, as part of a planned spin-off. Salix Group is expected to debut on Nasdaq Stockholm on 15 June 2026, with each Volati ordinary share entitling its holder to one Salix share, and the board authorised to set the record date close to the listing.
Chairman Patrik Wahlén said the separation is intended to unlock greater long-term shareholder value by allowing both Volati and Salix Group to develop more strongly as independent listed companies. Salix Group will hold an investor presentation on 29 May 2026 to outline its business areas, customer segments, strategy and financial targets, signalling a significant step in Volati’s portfolio evolution and creating a new standalone industrial player for the Stockholm market.
More about Volati AB
Volati AB is a Swedish industrial group focused on acquiring and developing medium-sized companies for long-term, sustainable growth. Founded in 2003, the group operates across 20 countries with around 2,400 employees and annual sales of approximately SEK 8.5 billion. Its business areas include Ettiketto Group, Communication, Corroventa, S:t Eriks Group and Tornum Group, while Salix Group is treated as a discontinued operation ahead of a separate stock market listing. Volati’s ordinary and preference shares are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, reflecting its established presence in the Nordic capital markets.
The company’s strategy centres on add-on acquisitions and active ownership to drive consistently strong profitable growth in its portfolio. With a vision to be Sweden’s best owner of medium-sized companies, Volati positions itself as a long-term industrial owner, targeting diversification across sectors and geographies. This model underpins Volati’s role as a consolidator in its chosen niches, providing a platform for further transactions and potential future spin-offs like the planned separation of Salix Group.
