Volati reported modest first-quarter growth for 2026, with group net sales including Salix Group up 3 percent to SEK 2,063 million, but EBITA slipping 3 percent to SEK 131 million as margins narrowed. Profit after tax nonetheless surged 64 percent and earnings per ordinary share climbed sharply, driven in part by portfolio changes and the reclassification of Salix Group as a discontinued operation.
Excluding Salix Group, net sales rose 3 percent to SEK 1,020 million while EBITA fell 27 percent and earnings per share turned more negative, highlighting operational pressure in continuing units. The group advanced its transformation by proposing the spin-off and separate listing of Salix, acquiring Interket Group to expand Ettiketto’s European footprint, and adding Ireland’s Laydex Building Solutions to Salix, moves that reposition Volati’s portfolio and refine its segment structure ahead of the planned distribution.
