Controladora Vuela Compañía de Aviación, S.A.B. de C.V., known as Volaris, reported a steady load factor of 87% for August 2024, despite a 15.1% year-over-year decrease in ASM capacity due to Pratt & Whitney engine inspections and aircraft groundings. The airline transported 2.6 million passengers and maintained operational performance with 30% of its fleet grounded. Volaris reaffirmed its annual capacity guidance, projecting around a 14% reduction.
