Vodafone Group Plc has reported the purchase of 10,650,000 of its own ordinary shares at prices ranging from 73.32 to 77.00 pence per share, with a volume weighted average price of 76.18 pence. These shares, bought from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc under a previously announced program, will be held in treasury, increasing Vodafone’s treasury shareholdings to 1,748,512,655 and leaving 27,070,171,283 ordinary shares in issue, excluding those held in treasury.
