Vizsla Copper ( (TSE:VCU) ) has provided an announcement.
Vizsla Copper plans a Phase 1, 2026 drill program of up to 8,000 metres at its Poplar Project in central British Columbia, targeting the Thira alteration corridor after a significant 2025 porphyry copper-molybdenum discovery. Using two drill rigs, the company aims both to expand the known Thira copper-molybdenum-silver-gold zone—already traced over at least 800 metres by 500 metres—and to test two new high-priority targets, Copper Pond and Camp Lake, defined by geophysical and geochemical data, with drilling expected to begin in early February as part of a broader year-round exploration push.
