An announcement from VisionWave Holdings ( (VWAV) ) is now available.
On March 11, 2026, VisionWave subsidiary SolarDrone Ltd. agreed to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Junko Solar Ltd., an Israeli solar panel maintenance and cleaning specialist, valuing Junko at $400,000 and paying $204,000 in three installments, with operational assets and customer relationships to be transferred to SolarDrone. As part of the deal, Junko founder and controlling shareholder Amos Cohen was appointed CEO and director of SolarDrone, a move VisionWave positions as a strategic expansion of its capabilities in solar infrastructure services and a way to strengthen SolarDrone’s role in the rapidly growing global solar energy maintenance market.
The transaction structure gives SolarDrone immediate control of Junko’s operations upon the first payment, enabling rapid integration of cleaning and maintenance services into its drone-focused platform. By installing an experienced sector executive at the helm and consolidating Junko’s activities under SolarDrone, VisionWave is seeking to deepen its presence in solar infrastructure services, potentially enhancing operational scale and reinforcing its positioning at the intersection of advanced autonomy and renewable energy support services.
