Virtuix Signs Navy Research Pact for Training Simulations

On March 30, 2026, Virtuix announced it has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, marking its first formal research collaboration with the U.S. Navy. Under the deal, Virtuix will deliver an Omni One system to the school’s MOVES Institute, where researchers will assess small-footprint, omni-directional navigation technology for a range of military training and simulation tasks.

The agreement strengthens Virtuix’s push into the defense market and supports broader adoption of its Virtual Terrain Walk system for military and first responder use cases. Building on prior sales to the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Marine Corps, the Navy collaboration is expected to generate insights that refine VTW’s AI-driven 3D reconstruction capabilities and deepen Virtuix’s role in mission planning and rehearsal technologies.
