VirTra, Inc. is a global provider of judgmental use of force training simulators and firearms training simulators for law enforcement and military markets, leveraging patented technologies to deliver immersive training experiences.

In its latest earnings report, VirTra announced a 15% year-over-year increase in second-quarter revenue, reaching $7.0 million, and a 5% increase in revenue for the first half of 2025. The company maintained positive net income and strong gross margins amid improving federal funding trends.

Key financial highlights include a backlog of $18.8 million and robust working capital of $34.1 million. The STEP® recurring revenue program showed a renewal rate of approximately 95%, with many customers opting for new three-year agreements. Despite a decrease in net income and adjusted EBITDA compared to the previous year, the company continued to demonstrate disciplined cost management and operational efficiency.

Looking ahead, VirTra’s management remains optimistic about future growth, citing the reopening of the Department of Justice COPS grant program and ongoing efforts to support funding initiatives. The company is well-positioned to capitalize on improved funding conditions and strengthen demand through the remainder of 2025 and into 2026.
