ViaSat Maneuvers Debt with Inmarsat Notes Issuance and Buyback

The latest update is out from ViaSat ( (VSAT) ).

Viasat is set to issue $1,250 million of Inmarsat Notes through a private placement, aiming to redeem part of their outstanding 2026 Notes and cover related expenses. They’ve recently bought back $50.5 million of their 2025 Notes and $101.7 million of the 2026 Notes with plans to purchase more, circumstances permitting. Inmarsat, a global mobile satellite services provider with over 40 years of experience, serves various sectors with a fleet of 15 satellites. Their business spans Government, Maritime, Aviation, and Enterprise units, with the Government sector being their largest revenue generator, indicating growth due to increased outsourcing and geopolitical tensions.
