Viad has updated on a wildfire situation in Jasper National Park, noting the safe evacuation of all personnel and guests from its Pursuit Banff Jasper Collection lodgings, which remain unaffected. The company is aiding both its team and the wider Jasper community, coordinating with various government levels and partners for recovery efforts. Critical town infrastructure has been protected, and efforts continue to manage the ongoing wildfire threat. Viad is also evaluating the financial impact with insurers, and charitable support for the community can be directed to the Canadian Red Cross and the Jasper Community Team Society.
