An announcement from Vertu Motors ( (GB:VTU) ) is now available.

Vertu Motors has disclosed that Ocorian Limited, as trustee of the company’s employee benefit trust, purchased 279,040 ordinary shares at 60.137 pence each on 16 March 2026, increasing the trust’s holding from 3,162,495 to 3,441,535 shares, or from 1.01% to 1.10% of issued share capital. The shares will be used to satisfy current and future obligations under Vertu’s long-term incentive and other employee share plans, giving executive directors and other senior managers a notional interest in the acquired stock and modestly increasing the pool of shares reserved for remuneration-linked incentives.

Vertu Motors confirmed that its total issued share capital remains 312,310,046 ordinary shares with voting rights, and that it holds no shares in treasury. The transaction underscores the company’s continued use of equity-based compensation as a core element of management and employee remuneration, aligning leadership interests with shareholders while minimally diluting existing investors through purchases in the market rather than new share issuance.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:VTU) stock is a Buy with a £71.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Vertu Motors stock, see the GB:VTU Stock Forecast page.
