Vertu Motors ( (GB:VTU) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Vertu Motors has increased the shareholding of its employee benefit trust, with trustee Ocorian Limited purchasing 285,000 ordinary shares at 60.03 pence each on 17 March 2026. The acquisition lifts the trust’s holding to 3,510,480 shares, or about 1.12% of Vertu’s issued share capital, and the shares will be used to satisfy awards under the company’s long-term incentive and other employee share schemes.
The move underscores Vertu’s continued use of equity-based incentives for executive directors and other senior managers, aligning management interests with shareholders through notional participation in the trust’s shares. With 312,310,046 ordinary shares in issue and none held in treasury, the transaction signals an incremental but clear commitment to incentivising key personnel within the group’s existing capital base.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:VTU) stock is a Buy with a £71.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Vertu Motors stock, see the GB:VTU Stock Forecast page.
