Verity Resources ( (AU:VRL) ) has shared an announcement.
Verity Resources has reported further encouraging assay results from 11 reverse circulation infill drill holes in its Phase 2 program at the Korong deposit, part of the Monument Gold Project in Western Australia, returning strong and repeatable gold intercepts that confirm the BIF-hosted lode model and grade continuity within the existing 139,000-ounce Korong resource envelope. With results now received from 20 Phase 2 holes totaling 2,500 metres and assays pending from a further 67 holes across Korong, Waihi and regional targets, the company says the consistency of mineralisation underpins its strategy to upgrade portions of the current 154,000-ounce Inferred Resource to higher confidence categories in an updated mineral resource estimate and supports a broader growth narrative, given that only about 10% of the project’s 20km BIF trend has been systematically drilled to date.
