Verano Holdings Corp. has completed the acquisition of The Cannabist Company’s subsidiaries in Arizona and Virginia, significantly increasing its national presence with 15 cultivation and production facilities and 150 dispensaries. This strategic move grants Verano exclusive cannabis operations in Eastern Virginia and enhances its retail and cultivation footprint in Arizona. The company aims to leverage these acquisitions for potential growth within Virginia’s medical program and the anticipated legalization of adult use.
