Veidekke ASA ( (GB:0GF6) ) has shared an announcement.
Veidekke has secured a target-price contract worth about NOK 525 million from Sognekraft to build the Offerdal hydropower project in Årdal, Norway. The project underscores Veidekke’s long-standing role in complex hydropower construction and deepens its collaboration with Sognekraft following the completion of the Feios plant.
Offerdal will deliver around 100 GWh of new renewable power annually, enough to supply roughly 6,000 households, through a flexible system featuring an underground daily storage reservoir and a 6.5-kilometre tunnel network. The development, which includes both an underground plant with two turbines and a surface installation, is set to start construction after Easter, aims to begin generation by late 2028, and will bolster Veidekke’s order backlog for the first quarter of 2026 while contributing to regional power balance and value creation.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:0GF6) stock is a Hold with a NOK194.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Veidekke ASA stock, see the GB:0GF6 Stock Forecast page.
