Veidekke ASA ( (GB:0GF6) ) has issued an update.
Veidekke has awarded its 2026 Scandinavian environmental prize to the Cissi Klein videregående skole project in Trondheim, a 930-student upper secondary school completed in 2025 that showcases zero-emission building operations and sharply reduced material-related emissions. The collaboration between contractor, architects, consultants and the client used geothermal and solar energy, low-carbon concrete and extensive material reuse, positioning Veidekke as a frontrunner in climate-friendly construction and providing a reference model for scalable, commercially viable green building solutions in the Nordic market.
The project more than halved the climate footprint from building materials by introducing low-carbon extreme concrete in the load-bearing structure and reusing elements such as brick, pine floors, tiles, stone and panels, while also testing new products now ready for wider market adoption. Designed for future adaptability and supported by biodiversity-focused landscaping using local plant species, the school meets Veidekke’s environmental award criteria of exceeding customer demands on climate and nature while maintaining positive financial results, underlining the company’s strategic focus on sustainable, profitable construction.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:0GF6) stock is a Hold with a NOK194.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Veidekke ASA stock, see the GB:0GF6 Stock Forecast page.
