Valeura Energy ( (TSE:VLE) ) just unveiled an update.
Valeura Energy reported first-quarter 2026 production of 22,300 barrels of oil per day, generating US$92.3 million in revenue from 1.394 million barrels sold at an average realised price of US$66.2 per barrel. Because there were no crude liftings in March, inventories in floating storage rose to 1.225 million barrels, much of which has already been sold in early April at stronger oil prices, leaving the producer with US$261.6 million in cash and no debt despite front-loaded capital spending and a US$15.5 million FSO purchase.
Management is using the stronger pricing environment to accelerate growth projects, including a US$7 million expansion of the Nong Yao A platform to add four new well slots and negotiations to extend drilling activity into the fourth quarter of 2026. With construction on the new-build Wassana central processing platform 60% complete and running ahead of schedule, Valeura is considering bringing that facility online sooner, with updated production and spending guidance to follow as acceleration plans are finalised.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:VLE) stock is a Hold with a C$14.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Valeura Energy stock, see the TSE:VLE Stock Forecast page.

The score is driven primarily by improved financial strength and profitability versus prior years, tempered by the sharp 2025 profitability/cash-flow volatility.
