Vale S.A. has announced the unanimous appointment of Gustavo Duarte Pimenta as the new Chief Executive Officer during an Extraordinary Meeting of the Board of Directors held on August 26, 2024. Pimenta is set to take office at a date to be announced, with an approved compensation package. The transition from the current CEO to Pimenta will follow the process that has been previously disclosed.
