Vala Inc.’s valalife business focuses on transforming new-energy vehicles into mobile living and working spaces, integrating tent-like roof structures, modular interiors and in-car entertainment to support scenarios from outdoor camping and family leisure to mobile retail and small-business operations. The company has already deployed its vala pro and vala home camping vehicles to target differentiated user groups and varied budgets across China’s evolving automotive lifestyle market.

The company’s subsidiary Hangzhou Vala has signed a vala house Model Development Agreement with SAIC Maxus RV Technology to jointly develop two versions of a vala house vehicle based on SAIC Maxus’s Dana model, including all-electric and extended-range variants. Under the partnership, Hangzhou Vala will act as the exclusive customization partner, focusing on personalized design and specialized components while SAIC Maxus RV handles technical validation, certification and manufacturing, positioning Vala to deepen its presence in China’s new-energy lifestyle vehicle niche by leveraging the MAXUS brand and industrial capabilities of SAIC Motor’s ecosystem.
