The latest announcement is out from URU Metals ( (GB:URU) ).

URU Metals has begun a ground-based frequency-domain electromagnetic survey at its Zeb Nickel Project, following completion of a high-resolution gravity survey over priority targets adjacent to Ivanplats’ Platreef Mine. The new survey aims to map subsurface conductive bodies with greater precision than prior airborne work, improving the definition of anomalies that may represent semi-massive to massive nickel sulphide mineralisation.

By integrating fresh electromagnetic data with existing gravity and magnetic datasets, URU expects to refine the geometry, depth and continuity of key targets, bolstering confidence ahead of an upcoming drilling campaign. The company is also preparing request-for-quotation documents to select a drilling contractor, signalling a transition from geophysical targeting to on-the-ground testing that could be pivotal for project advancement and stakeholder interest.

Spark’s Take on URU Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, URU is a Neutral.

Overall score is held down primarily by weak fundamentals (pre-revenue, ongoing cash burn, and negative equity). Technicals are also soft with negative MACD and the price below key short-term averages, while recent corporate events (mining right secured and oversubscribed financing) provide the main offset.
