Urban Edge CEO Jeff Olson Secures New Compensation Deal

Urban Edge Properties (UE) has issued an announcement.

Jeffrey S. Olson has renewed his role as Chairman and CEO with an unchanged annual target compensation, maintaining his annual $1.1 million base salary and eligibility for a bonus of at least 110% of that salary. The new employment agreement, effective until September 2027 with potential annual extensions, secures Olson long-term incentive compensation through LTIP Units valued at $4.45 million. Should Olson’s service terminate, he will be entitled to severance, bonuses, and medical benefits, with the agreement including post-employment non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. Any hefty exit payments may be reduced to avoid extra taxes, ensuring Olson the best after-tax outcome.
