Upbound Group, Inc. has appointed Charu Jain, a highly experienced technology executive with a knack for driving growth through innovation, as a new independent director on its board. Ms. Jain, currently the senior vice president of merchandising and innovation at Alaska Air Group, brings her expertise in digital transformation to Upbound. She is set to stand for re-election at the 2025 annual meeting of stockholders and will receive compensation that includes an annual cash retainer and stock units. Jain’s leadership and contributions are anticipated to enhance Upbound’s technology-driven solutions in the retail space.
