The latest announcement is out from UOBAM Ping An ChiNext ETF Units ( (SG:CXS) ).
UOB Asset Management Ltd announced revisions to the ChiNext Index methodology, which will be implemented on June 16, 2025. The changes include the introduction of an ESG negative screening mechanism to exclude stocks rated below B and setting an upper limit to constituent weights at no more than 20% during periodic reviews. These revisions aim to improve the index’s investability and reflect a growing emphasis on ESG considerations in investment strategies.
