Universal Health ( (UHS) ) just unveiled an update.

On March 26, 2026, Universal Health’s Compensation Committee approved the bonus formulas that will govern annual incentive compensation for executive officers for the year ending Dec. 31, 2026, under its 2022 Executive Incentive Plan. Each executive was assigned a target bonus, expressed as a percentage of 2026 base salary and tied to corporate performance criteria, with the target bonus for CEO Marc D. Miller set pursuant to his employment agreement.

The Committee also approved a discretionary cash bonus of $1.07 million on March 26, 2026, to be paid to Executive Chairman Alan B. Miller for performance in the year ended Dec. 31, 2025, underscoring the board’s continued reliance on incentive pay to reward leadership and drive company results. For key executives Marc D. Miller and CFO Steve G. Filton, 100% of their 2026 annual incentives will be based on corporate metrics, further tightening the link between senior management compensation and overall company performance.

Spark’s Take on UHS Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, UHS is a Neutral.

UHS scores as moderately attractive: strong underlying financial performance and a low P/E support the rating, and 2026 guidance is constructive despite defined headwinds. The main drag is the clearly bearish technical setup (below major moving averages with negative momentum), along with cash-flow consistency and debt remaining key items to monitor.
