Unity Metals Limited ( (AU:UM1) ) just unveiled an announcement.
Unity Metals has begun the first-ever geophysical and remote sensing surveys at its O’Phlay Gold Project in eastern Cambodia, engaging Austhai Geophysical Consultants to conduct LiDAR, UAV magnetics and Gradient Array Induced Polarization over key prospects. The work, covering former small-scale open-pit mining areas with strong gold-in-soil anomalies, is aimed at refining drill targets and identifying additional mineralised zones.
The month-long program includes detailed topographic, magnetic and IP datasets over the Camp and Small Creek prospects, where Unity has mapped quartz-sulphide vein stockworks and sulphide-rich veins indicative of intrusion-related gold systems. Unity is concurrently upgrading about 20 km of access roads and has established a field camp, positioning the company to commence drilling at O’Phlay this quarter while continuing exploration at its flagship Ngot Project, potentially enhancing its regional gold pipeline.
