United Bankshares, Inc. has expanded its Board of Directors to fifteen members and appointed Dr. Sara DuMond as an independent director, effective October 21, 2024. Dr. DuMond’s selection was independent of any undisclosed transactions or specific arrangements, and she will be compensated in line with the company’s standard practices for non-employee directors, details of which are publicly filed. As of now, Dr. DuMond has not been assigned to any Board committees.
