Unite Students Launches £400M Bond Issuance

Unite Group plc (GB:UTG) has released an update.

Unite Students, the UK’s foremost provider of student accommodations, has announced a £400 million bond issuance with an 8-year term and a 5.625% coupon rate, aimed at corporate refinancing and extending debt maturity. The issuance is part of the company’s new Euro Medium Term Note Programme, which is expected to receive BBB and Baa1 ratings from S&P and Moody’s respectively. CFO Michael Burt expresses satisfaction with this move, highlighting its benefits for the company’s development opportunities and debt maturity profile.
