Union Jack Oil PLC has announced that its joint venture’s application to recomplete the West Newton A-2 well onshore UK has been accepted, marking a step towards derisking the project and contributing to the UK’s energy sector transition to a lower carbon footprint. The recompletion aims to repair well bore damage and gather crucial data for designing a horizontal production well, with Union Jack being fully funded for this phase of the project.
