Unilever Initiates Final Phase of Major Buyback

Unilever (GB:ULVR) has released an update.

Unilever PLC has launched the second and final phase of its substantial €1.5 billion share buyback program, aiming to reduce the company’s capital by purchasing shares until December 13, 2024. This move follows the successful completion of the program’s first tranche, where Unilever bought back €700 million worth of its own shares. The buyback process is being independently managed by BNP Paribas Financial Markets, ensuring decisions are made without direct influence from Unilever.
