Unicaja Banco Executes Significant Capital Reduction

Unicaja Banco SA (ES:UNI) has released an update.

Unicaja Banco SA has announced the execution of a capital reduction by redeeming 83,399,011 of its own shares, which amounts to a reduction of 20,849,752.75 euros and represents 3.14% of its share capital. The capital post-reduction will stand at 642,858,617 euros, represented by 2,571,434,468 nominative shares. This action, deriving from a previously established share buyback program, will be accompanied by the creation of a reserve for redeemed capital with the same constraints as a capital reduction and will not affect the rights of bondholders.
