United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) has announced its participation in the ‘Taiwan Corporate Day 2024’ hosted by Goldman Sachs on September 4, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Taipei. Additionally, UMC will change its Custodian bank for the Depositary Receipts program to Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Limited, effective September 16, 2024. The company’s financial report for August 2024 shows a net sales growth of 8.94% compared to the previous year and a 3.00% increase year-to-date.
