Singapore Exchange’s Mainboard has welcomed the listing of UI Boustead REIT under the stock code UIBU, further expanding its roster of real estate investment trusts. The IPO introduces a cross-border portfolio spanning Singapore and Japan, reinforcing SGX’s role as a hub for regional logistics and industrial real estate capital.
UI Boustead REIT enters the market with S$1.9 billion of logistics, high-spec industrial and business space assets, targeting stable cash flows through built-in rental escalations and a visible acquisition pipeline across Asia Pacific. Its debut at S$0.805 adds to a growing SGX REIT sector that now comprises 42 REITs and property trusts with more than S$100 billion in combined market capitalisation, underlining sustained investor appetite for yield-driven real estate vehicles.
Management at UI Boustead REIT highlighted robust investor demand despite macroeconomic volatility, positioning the trust as a differentiated growth platform backed by UIB Holdings. SGX executives framed the listing as evidence that sponsors continue to tap Singapore’s mature REIT ecosystem, with its deep investor base and clear regulation, to list cross-border portfolios and secure long-term funding.
