Ucore Rare Metals Inc. has successfully tested a mixed rare earth carbonate sample from Defense Metals’ Wicheeda Project, proving its compatibility with Ucore’s RapidSX™ technology for commercial-scale processing. This marks a significant step in the companies’ collaboration under their Memorandum of Understanding, setting the stage for Ucore’s development of Strategic Metals Complexes (SMCs) in North America. The test results will feed into Ucore’s upcoming light rare earth element demonstration program and inform engineering flowsheets for their Louisiana SMC project.
