U-blox unveils global high-precision GNSS module with Galileo HAS

u-blox Holding AG ( (CH:UBXN) ) has issued an announcement.

U-blox has launched the ZED-X20P-01B, a new all-band GNSS module that extends its ZED-X20P platform with global Precise Point Positioning and Galileo High Accuracy Service support. The module targets OEMs needing decimeter-level accuracy without dependence on local correction infrastructure, particularly in regions with patchy RTK networks or limited connectivity.

By adding Moving Base functionality and stronger jamming and spoofing resilience verified in independent testing, the ZED-X20P-01B is designed for mission-critical uses in UAVs, marine navigation, precision agriculture, construction, mining, mapping, and robotics. Its compatibility with existing ZED form factors and u-blox PointPerfect services provides a streamlined upgrade path, helping manufacturers standardize on one high-precision platform for global deployments.

The new module aims to simplify scaling from pilot projects to worldwide rollouts, reducing the need for region-specific hardware designs and complex host processing. With samples and evaluation kits available from June, the product strengthens u-blox’s position in high-precision GNSS and supports its strategy to make decimeter-level positioning more accessible and scalable for international OEMs.
