The latest announcement is out from TXO Energy Partners LP ( (TXO) ).
On March 10, 2026, TXO Partners said its 50%-owned joint venture Cross Timbers Energy agreed to sell substantially all of its oil and gas properties to multiple private buyers for about $200 million, including a $123.5 million deal with CTOC Energy, an entity owned by family members of TXO’s chairman. The purchase agreement, unanimously approved by the board and its conflicts committee, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, with customary conditions and no assurance all will be satisfied.
TXO expects roughly $100 million in net proceeds, which it plans to use in part to fund a $70 million deferred payment due July 31, 2026, tied to its 2025 acquisition of assets from White Rock Energy. Following the divestiture, management said the company will concentrate operations in the Williston and San Juan basins and in the Vacuum and Parker fields of the Permian, signaling a sharper geographic focus while Jefferies and Kelly Hart & Hallman advise on the transaction.
The most recent analyst rating on (TXO) stock is a Buy with a $19.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on TXO Energy Partners LP stock, see the TXO Stock Forecast page.
