TVI Pacific has proactively suspended operations at the Siana Gold Mine due to a tailings storage facility embankment failure, with no casualties reported. The suspension allows for investigation and ensures community safety, with GRC committing to rebuild damaged homes and maintain rigorous safety standards. Despite the incident, milling operations continue using stockpiled material, and there is no reported damage to ongoing mining activities.
