An announcement from DY6 Metals Ltd. ( (AU:TSK) ) is now available.
Tusker Minerals has completed the acquisition of the Yaoundé West Rutile tenement package in Cameroon, securing 100% ownership of a historically significant rutile-producing area that previously helped make the country the world’s third-largest rutile producer. The deal extends the company’s Central Rutile Project to about 8,782 square kilometres, adjoining Lion Rock Minerals’ Minta project, and adds highly prospective ground underlain by kyanite-bearing mica schist and garnet paragneiss. Tusker has restructured the transaction terms with vendor Mbolo Capital so that half of the cash and share consideration is paid now, with the remainder contingent on the granting of all Yaoundé West licences, expected in early 2026, while exploration continues ahead of a major field campaign that could be pivotal in defining a potential world-class rutile deposit and strengthening the company’s position in the regional rutile sector.
