On May 12, 2026, TSMC’s board of directors approved the company’s first-quarter 2026 business report and financial statements, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$1.134 trillion and net income of about NT$572.5 billion, equivalent to diluted earnings per share of NT$22.08. The board also released a snapshot of the balance sheet as of March 31, 2026, highlighting total assets of NT$8.66 trillion and equity attributable to shareholders of NT$5.89 trillion, reinforcing the foundry’s financial strength.

The board approved a cash dividend of NT$7 per share for the first quarter of 2026, setting the ex-dividend and record dates in mid-September and targeting an October 8, 2026 payout, including aligned dates for American depositary shares, underscoring TSMC’s continued cash returns to investors. Directors also authorized about US$31.3 billion in capital appropriations for advanced capacity expansion and fab construction and up to US$20 billion of capital injection into TSMC Arizona, signaling an aggressive build-out of leading-edge manufacturing, particularly in the United States.
