On July 21, 2025, Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. announced it has accumulated approximately $2 billion in bitcoin and bitcoin-related securities as part of its bitcoin treasury strategy, which now comprises two-thirds of its $3 billion in liquid assets. The company plans to continue acquiring bitcoin and related assets to generate revenue and potentially acquire more crypto assets, aiming to ensure financial freedom and protect against financial institution discrimination, while creating synergies with a planned utility token for the Truth Social ecosphere.
