On June 23, 2025, TROOPS, Inc. and its subsidiaries were ordered by the High Court of Hong Kong to pay significant sums due to a legal judgment. Subsequently, on August 20, 2025, TROOPS received a winding-up petition from the Real Estate and Finance Fund, citing insolvency and inability to pay debts. The company is exploring legal options to protect shareholder interests ahead of a hearing scheduled for October 9, 2025.
