Trillion Energy International ( (TSE:TCF) ) just unveiled an update.

On March 27, 2026, Trillion Energy International announced that debenture holders representing at least two-thirds of its C$15 million 12% convertible debentures approved a fourth supplemental indenture to restructure outstanding obligations. As of January 31, 2026, the company owed about C$16.38 million in principal and interest, with additional interest accruing to March 20, 2026.

Under the March 20, 2026 agreement, if Trillion successfully completes an equity financing of at least C$10 million by September 30, 2026, debenture holders will convert C$11 million of the amount due into common shares on the same terms as that financing. The remaining roughly C$5.37 million would then be written off and forgiven, significantly reducing debt, but if the financing is not completed on time the amendments lapse and the full amount, including the would‑be forgiven portion, becomes immediately payable.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:TCF) stock is a Hold with a C$0.02 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Trillion Energy International stock, see the TSE:TCF Stock Forecast page.

Spark’s Take on TCF Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TCF is a Underperform.

Trillion Energy International’s overall stock score is primarily driven by its poor financial performance, which is the most significant factor. The technical analysis also indicates a bearish trend, further impacting the score. Valuation concerns due to the lack of P/E ratio and dividend yield data contribute to the low score. The absence of earnings call data and corporate events means these components do not influence the score.
