Trident Royalties Plc has announced the successful commencement of gold production at the Greenstone Gold Mine in Ontario, Canada, with the first gold pour producing 1,800 ounces. As part of its offtake agreement, Trident is entitled to 100% of the gold produced up to 58,500 ounces annually until March 2027. The Greenstone project, operated by Equinox Gold, is set to become one of Canada’s largest gold mines with projected annual production of 400,000 ounces in the first five years.
